Consultation
During the initial consultations for Vaser liposuction, you’ll meet with one of our qualified doctors. These appointments are an essential step where your medical history, current health status, and treatment goals will be thoroughly discussed.
A Levant Cosmetic Surgery doctor will assess whether you are a suitable candidate for Vaser liposuction and provide a detailed explanation of the procedure, including the potential risks, side effects, and complications. This is also the time for you to ask any questions or express any concerns you may have about the process.
Pre-Op
Before having surgery, there are important preparations to be made. You may be required to undergo various medical tests and evaluations to ensure you are physically ready for the procedure.
We will provide you with detailed pre-operative instructions, including guidelines on fasting and medication. You’ll also receive information on what to wear and any specific preparations needed for the day of the surgery. It’s crucial to closely follow these instructions to ensure a smooth and safe surgical experience.
The Procedure
The Vaser liposuction technique, performed under sedation, employs ultrasound to target and dissolve fat. A special solution is introduced to the chin/neck to minimise discomfort and bleeding, followed by the insertion of the Vaser probe to break down fat cells.
Collagen contraction for skin tightening is an additional benefit of the heat produced during the process. The liquefied fat is then carefully extracted using suction from the targeted areas.
