Consultation
During the initial consultation for calf Vaser liposuction, you’ll meet with one of our qualified doctors. This is a crucial step where your medical history, current health status, and specific goals will be thoroughly discussed.
A Levant Cosmetic Surgery doctor will assess whether you are a suitable candidate for calf Vaser liposuction and provide a detailed explanation of the procedure. This is also the time for you to ask any questions or express any concerns you may have about the process.
Pre-Op
Before the actual surgery, there are important preparations to be made. You may be required to undergo various medical tests and evaluations to ensure you are physically ready for the procedure.
We will provide you with detailed pre-operative instructions, including guidelines on fasting and medication.
You’ll also receive information on what to wear and any specific preparations needed for the day of the surgery. It’s crucial to closely follow these instructions to ensure a smooth and safe surgical experience.
The Procedure
Calf and ankle liposuction is performed using anaesthetic sedation. Vaser liposuction works with ultrasound waves to precisely target and break down fat cells, while also helping to tighten the skin. During the procedure, a small tool called a cannula is used to liquefy the fat through an incision in the skin. After that, the fat is removed via suction.
Following surgery, special tight-fitting garments are put on your lower legs to help reduce swelling and support healing.
